  • Colorado Oratorical Contest

    Eligibility: Applicants must be high school students under the age of 20 who are U.S. citizens or legal residents and residents of the state. Students first give an oration within their state and winners compete at the national level. The oration must be related to the Constitution of the United States focusing on the duties and obligations citizens have to the government. It must be in English and be between eight and ten minutes. There is also an assigned topic which is posted on the website, and it should be between three and five minutes.

  • Daniels Scholarship Program

    Eligibility: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors enrolling in any nonprofit accredited college or university and be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah or Wyoming. Students must submit a FAFSA to demonstrate financial need, have a minimum 2.0 GPA and earn an ACT score of 17 and minimum SAT Math score of 470 along with a minimum SAT Critical Reading score of 450.

    Eligibility: Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college or university. They must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who reside and attend school in Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York or North Carolina. They must have an unweighted GPA of 3.5 or higher, and they must demonstrate leadership, perseverance and financial need. Their household income must be $70,000 a year or less. Winners participate in the Whole Person Program which includes Summer Symposium, Mentorship, Professional Networking, Impact and Internship programming and more!

  • H.M. Muffly Memorial Scholarship

    Eligibility: Applicants must be Colorado residents who are planning to practice nursing in Colorado. They must be juniors or seniors working towards the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Registered Nurses (RNs) pursuing the bachelor's degree or higher in a school of nursing; practicing RNs pursuing a doctoral degree in nursing or second- or third-year Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) students. Undergraduates must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher, and graduate students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Selection is based on GPA, financial need, recommendations, community involvement and commitment to professional practice in Colorado.

    How to apply: Applications are available online. An application form, schedule of classes, two recommendation letters, financial need statement, transcript and personal essay are required.
