    Eligibility: Applicants must be Jewish teens, U.S. residents and between 13 and 19 years old. Two references and an application form are required. Teens' projects can help either the Jewish community or the general community as long as they have not been remunerated for their services. Teens may be nominated by any community member who knows the importance of their project except family members or may also nominate themselves.

    Eligibility: Applicants must be financially needy residents of the greater Philadelphia area including the following: high school and college-age youth, young adults and teachers in Jewish settings. Students must be willing to attend study programs in Orthodox Yeshivot in Israel.

  • Rick Arkans Eagle Scout Scholarship
    Deadline: March 31
    Amount: $1,000

    Sponsor: National Jewish Committee on Scouting

    Eligibility: Applicants must be a high school senior at an accredited high school or college freshman if their Eagle Scout board of review was held the same year of their high school graduation. Students must be a current registered and active member of a Boy Scout troop, Varsity Scout team or Venturing crew and must be an active member of a synagogue. Applicants must have received the Ner Tamid or Etz Chaim religious emblem and must show practical citizenship in their school, Scouting unit, synagogue and community.

    How to apply: Applications are available online. An application form, one Scouting recommendation letter, one religious leader recommendation letter and a copy of the FAFSA are required.
