    Eligibility: Applicants must be NSCA members for one year before applying and be pursuing careers in strength and conditioning. Students must submit an essay detailing their course of study, career goals and financial need. Applications are evaluated based on grades, courses, experience, honors, recommendations and involvement in the community and with NSCA.

  • High School Scholarship

    Eligibility: Applicants must be high school seniors planning to graduate with a degree related to strength and conditioning with a current 3.0 GPA. Students must be NSCA members, although applicants may enroll at the time of application, and pursuing a career in strength and conditioning. Applications are evaluated based on grades, courses, experience, honors, recommendations and involvement in the community and with NSCA.

  • Janet L. Hoffman Loan Assistance Repayment Program
    Deadline: October 1
    Amount: Up to $10,000

    Sponsor: Maryland Higher Education Commission

    Eligibility: Applicants must live in Maryland, and they must be employed full-time by Maryland state or local government or nonprofit organizations that serve low income or underprivileged people. They must have a degree from a Maryland college or from any law school, or certification from the Maryland State Department of Education. Priority is given to individuals who have graduated in the past three years. Applicants must also have college loans on which they have not defaulted, and each person's annual gross salary must be under $60,000. Applicants must work in one of the following positions: lawyers, teachers, nurses, nurse faculty members, physical and occupational therapists, social workers, speech pathologists or physician assistants.
