  • District 6690 Rotary Four-Way Test Essay Contest
    Deadline: April 11

    Eligibility: Applicants must be high school freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors including a student who has won a previous State Four-Way Test Essay Contest is eligible. Prior contest winners of the district 6690 essay contest may participate but must have an essay different from a prior winning essay or speech. The essay submitted by each contestant must be original in content and relate applying the Four-Way Test as much as possible to the lives of the age group of the contestant.

  • Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Contest
    Deadline: May 15

    Sponsor: National Society, Sons of the American Revolution

    Eligibility: Applicants must prepare a speech of five to six minutes on some aspect of the Revolutionary War. The contest is open to high school students at public, private and parochial high schools, as well as home-schooled students. Eligibility for the national contest is determined by contests on the state and local level.
