    Eligibility: Applicants must be participants in the College Preparatory Invitational, be students in grades 8 through 12, have a 3.0 GPA or higher and have served a minimum of 36 hours of community service within the last 16 months. The scholarship is awarded to the applicant with the highest number of community hours served.

    How to apply: To apply, send a letter with the organization's letterhead documenting service hours performed, a copy of the IRS letter of recognition of exemption of the organization and current school transcript via certified mail.

    Eligibility: Students must earn a Sportsmanship Award at a local, regional or zone IEA competition during the school year and maintain a 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on academic achievement, extracurricular involvement, equestrian participation and characteristics that portray good sportsmanship and a role model.

    How to apply: Riders who have earned a Sportsmanship Award at a lower level will be given an application for the national award. The application includes a 250-word essay, personal resume, copy of official transcript and three letters of recommendation.
