  • Wisconsin Broadcasters Association Foundation Student Scholarship Program
    Deadline: November 1
    Amount: $1,500-$2,500

    Eligibility: Applicants must attend a public or private college or university, a broadcast or media school or Wisconsin technical college. They must major in broadcasting, communications or a related field and have completed 60 credits by the application deadline. Students must have graduated from a Wisconsin high school or be attending a Wisconsin institution of higher learning. They must plan a career in radio or television broadcasting and must not have previously won a WBA scholarship.

    How to apply: Applications are available online. An application form, transcript, essay and two letters of recommendation are required.

    Eligibility: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who plan to enroll in a technical school, college or university and should pursue studies leading to a career in broadcasting engineering or a related field. Preference is given to members of SBE, but any student may apply. Applicants should submit applications, transcripts, biographies and statements. Recipients must write a paper about broadcast engineering.
