Scholarship Opportunities

Approximately 99 percent of all Ursinus students receive some form of assistance. For 2022-2023 Ursinus administered over $76 million in financial aid—over $54.6 million in the form of institutional scholarships and grants that do not have to be repaid. The funding for our institutional scholarships are partially underwritten by generous Ursinus alumni, friends, foundations, and corporations. Thousands of supporters are stepping up each year to help you afford Ursinus.

Students who submit the FAFSA will be considered for all aid programs administered by the college.

Information on Deferring Enrollment

Students have the ability to defer admission to Ursinus College for up to one academic year. If you choose to defer, your merit award will remain the same, including the Gateway, Reverend Rice and Zacharias Honor’s scholarships. Your need-based aid may change depending on your EFC (Expected Family Contribution) as determined by the FAFSA. If you were awarded Tuition Exchange, it is not guaranteed, should you defer. If your home institution approves your application next year, and if Ursinus College has enough spaces, we will make every effort to award you Tuition Exchange, but again, it is not guaranteed. Specialty Scholarships cannot be deferred.
