The Christermon Foundation

The Christermon Foundation is a non-profit organization of the Beverage Alcohol Industry. It was established in 1987 to support worthy charities and to develop a college scholarship program.

The mission of the Foundation is to demonstrate and promote a positive image for our industry within the community.

The Foundation's primary goal is to execute the Beverage Industry Scholarship Program as an exciting example of public-partnership in education. This scholarship fund provides qualified students with up to a $6,000 one-year scholarship to be used toward tuition and room/board at any accredited four-year college or university in the United States.

The eligibility pool includes California based children or grandchildren of persons who are employed, full-time, by a licensee in the State of California. All Candidates must be US citizens.

Three scholarship levels are available: 1. Graduating CALIFORNIA high school seniors who will begin a four-year university, in the U.S., in the Fall of their high school graduation date. 2. Two-year CALIFORNIA community college students transferring to a four-year college, in the U.S., beginning in the Fall of their transfer year. (Note: HS and CC students currently enrolled in a four-year university are ineligible.) 3. Post-Graduate candidates: currently employed full time with a company holding a valid California beverage license who plan to continue employment within this field while pursuing a post-graduate degree.

Pre-requisites apply for all three scholarship levels.
